BIOGRAPHY
Christopher began bagpiping lessons in 1999 following his induction into the Associated Firefighters of Illinois Honor Guard. As a career Firefighter, and with a strong tradition of Pipes And Drums in the fire service, Christopher felt the need to carry on that tradition. Within two years, Chris became a founding member of the AFFI pipes and drums. He has provided music and honor at fallen firefighter services in Illinois and around America. Christopher currently serves as Pipe Major and has since 2005. He is very knowledgeable in the protocol and deportment for Police, Fire, and Military Services.

Christopher has also been an active competitive piper in both solo and band formats, winning many medals in solo and many band championships as well. He has been a past member of the Tunes of Glory pipe band, Chicago Caledonian, Chicago Celtic, and currently plays with Grade 2, Midlothian Scottish Pipe Band, taking 3rd in Qualifying and 8th overall at the World Pipeband championships 2015 Grade 3A. Also winning numerous champion supreme titles in the Midwest Pipeband association.

Christopher has had the pleasure of performing twice to open concerts with Rod Stewart. He has performed for the National Polo Team of Wales, International Society of Arborists, Dewars Whiskey Co., Oakbrook Polo Club, Mr Johnny "Red" Kerr, University of Chicago, Arlington Park International Racecourse and many other satisfied clientele.
Christopher is also active in assisting local firefighters with instruction in piping.
